West Of England Bandsmen’s Festival, Bugle, Saturday 20th June 2015.

Wow what a day! Lostwithiel Town Training Band entered the competition in the training section along with five other bands. The Lostwithiel band comprised of 7 children from schools in the local area ranging from age 7 to 11, plus supported by three Senior Band members, with Denzil Stephens at the helm as the Musical Director.

The Junior Band came 2nd in this section. Well done Jake, Kitty, Florence, Emily, Evan, James, Alicia, Christie, Tegan, Bernard & Denzil. A small but selective group competing against larger bands.

The junior band meets every Saturday at Lostwithiel Community Centre between 9am-10am.

Beginners classes are also held between 10am-11am.
