Thinking of standing for election? Find out more about representing Lostwithiel at the Councillor Fair on 18th January 2025
Do you want to make a difference and help improve the lives of people in Lostwithiel ? If so, you might wish to consider standing for election on 1st May 2025. Lostwithiel can elect up to 16 Town Councillors, and one County Councillor who represents both Lostwithiel and Lanreath.
A Councillor Fair is being held at New County Hall in Truro on Saturday January 18th to give people more information about the role and what it involves. Anyone interested in standing to be a councillor for Lostwithiel Town Council or Cornwall Council, can book a place for the free event. The fair will include talks from officers at Cornwall Council and serving councillors will be on hand to answer questions.
Prospective candidates will also have the opportunity to speak to staff from Cornwall Council to find out more about the support that is available should they chose to stand for election.
