Restormel Lodge have announced that they are the first Best Western hotel in Cornwall to offer an electric car charging point

The hotel in Lostwithiel was recently reassesed by the Green Tourism Business Scheme and has been upgraded from Bronze award to Silver.

The GTBS is the leading sustainable tourism certification scheme in the UK. Businesses opting to join are assessed by a qualified grading advisor against a rigorous set of criteria, covering a range of areas, like energy and water efficiency, waste management, biodiversity and more. Within the scheme each business is scored on up to 60 measures and the results then establish what award level they have achieved (Going Green, Bronze, Silver or Gold).
