Lostwithiel Business Group member Colwith Farm Distillery are inviting local hospitality and tourism businesses to their first ever open event. The free event, from 4-5pm on Saturday February 29, will give attendees the chance to see for themselves how potatoes grown on the fifth-generation family farm are transformed into spirits, along with the chance to sample the goods.

Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary, “perfect serve” gin and tonic, be introduced to a few of the team, enjoy a mini distillery tour and learn about the range of distillery experiences available.

The event has been designed to give those working in the hospitality sector a taster of what tourists can look forward to.

Home to Stafford’s Gin and Aval Dor Vodka – which won Silver at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2019 – Colwith Farm Distillery opened for production and tours in July 2018. It claims to be the only facility in the south west making everything from scratch on one site.
