The planning application (PA24/05311) for renovation of the Lostwithiel Community Centre has been approved.

The Community Centre, which hosts over 100 activities and clubs each week, will undergo a much-needed transformation. It is in dire need of repairs and upgrades to ensure its continued vitality. Some of the proposals from Rowett Architecture include:-

- Addressing roof leaks and other water egress damage

- Creating a dedicated, spacious area for dance classes and exams

- Optimising the layout for better functionality

- Switching to a more durable and cost-effective metal roof
