The  Cornwall  Council One stop shop opens for the first time in Lostwithiel Community centre on Thursday 13th May from 10am to 12-30 pm. The shop will provide access to advice and information on all council services including Housing, Benefits, Council Tax, Business Rates, Refuse and  recycling

 Operating alongside the  One Stop  Shop is “Working Links” an organisation designed to  help people  find work, get extra training or get help to overcome some of the challenges they  might be facing  

Working Links can help people to -

•    write your CV;
•    fill in application forms;
•    get sector-specific skills;
•    practise your interview skills;
•    access other relevant support;
•    build your confidence and motivation;
•    work out your benefits and tax credits;
•    organise work experience or training; and
•    pay for practical things like work clothes or transport.
