It is with regret that the Lostwithiel Carnival Charity Fayre has been cancelled. On inspection the entrance to the King George V playing field is completely impractical for motor vehicles and to accommodate the expected large footfall of visitors without considerable damage to the field.

The Rotary Club of Lostwithiel regrets this short notice of cancellation, but is considering if the event can be held later in the summer. 

Lostwithiel Fire Station open day will still take place at the Fire Station in the main car park. 

The Skate Jam will still take place, having relocated to the Royal Talbot Car Park.

The Flora Dance will still go ahead as part of the Carnival Procession on Saturday 21st July 2012. So please join us then and invite anyone you know to come along as well. We will assemble in the Community Centre car park at 6:15pm and all dancers should be brightly or traditionally dressed. The parade will move off promptly at 6:30pm and we will follow the band out of the car park, along the main road and down Fore Street and peel off at the Parade/Quay Street. The parade will then continue around the town as in previous years.
