Lost in Canvas
Lost In Canvas is a small but exclusive glamping site situated in the grounds of Delancey House, and nestled on the hill side above the historic town of Lostwithiel. Expect picturesque views overlooking the valley below whilst you enjoy a peaceful getaway in the Cornish countryside.
Our small site has just three luxury bell tents, each with its own hotel quality bathroom. Our tents sleep up to four with a double bed and two single futons for the little ones. Bedding and towels are provided and there are solar-powered plug sockets to keep your devices charged. You'll also have outdoor seating, fridge/freezer space, a dual gas hob, crockery, a kettle, tea/coffee, cooking utensils and a BBQ set for meals in the open on your private fire pit.
For campers we have three non electric grass pitches, they are 5m circles dug into the hillside, all with plenty of space and amazing views of the River Fowey. Campers can also enjoy the luxury of shared access to a modern, high quality bathroom.
Here we are fortunate to be in a great location to explore the local area. From your tent there's many walking routes to choose, from short morning strolls to all day adventures in some of the most beautiful locations Cornwall has to offer. Hop in the car and you're only 15 minutes from the beach, and it's even quicker to find fantastic pubs, cafes and restaurants to suit all taste buds right here in Lostwithiel.
