Kevin Staniforth has been practicing as a professional wedding photographer in Cornwall for the past 9 years, following degree studies in photography in the 1980’s. He has developed and refined a fresh, relaxed and individual approach to his work.

I enjoy and look forward with enthusiasm to every wedding I photograph; my intentions are always the same, to create pure and classic imagery that will stand the tests of time and fashion; each wedding is documented with an honest and unpretentious approach, with as little interuption to the days’ proceedings as possible.

Good wedding photographers take on many roles within their remit: during wedding celebrations they will be a portrait photographer, a landscape photographer a photojournalist and above all expect to be creative! . Essentially, all wedding photographers over time develop a wedding style which is personal to that individual. My wedding photography style and approach is most definately my own; how I respond to your wedding day as it unfolds, capturing the emotion, drama and intimacy is as individual to me as my personality! I have had the pleasure of photographing wedding couples in beautiful locations throughout Cornwall such as The Polurrian Hotel, Mullion (West Cornwall), The Camelot Hotel in Tintagel (North Cornwall), and Polhawn Fort (South East Cornwall). I have also worked extensively in Devon and have had wedding photography commissions as far afield as York! Tayloring my photographic style to your wedding
Is is important that we talk through your needs, aspirations and requirements for your wedding day as soon as possible. Following an informal chat or meet, I will design a wedding photography shooting script taylored to your needs: this will include when and where I start photographing, working time scales and any logistical factors that need to be addressed.
