Mount Edgecumb Hospice
Mount Edgecumb Hospice, located in St Austell, aims to provide help and relief to people suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses. Lostwithiel has an active fund raising group to support the Hospice, which raised over £4000 in 2004. Since the Lostwithiel branch was formed nearly £80,000 has been raised. Regular fund raising events are held in and around Lostwithiel. These are well publicised in the Newsletter and in local shops.
