Lostwithiel’s exciting new film society
Would you like to see movies in Lostwithiel?
Then come along to a screening and vote with your feet! We’re hoping to start a film club in Lostwithiel, and we need your support to make it happen. If you’re tired of having to drive to Wadebridge, Truro or even Plymouth to see great movies on the big screen then look no further. More than just a cinema, a film club is a social event and an opportunity to see movies you might otherwise miss.
No Country For Old Men
Our first screening is the Coen brothers’ Best Picture winner at the Oscars®: No Country For Old Men. We’ll be showing it on Monday 30th June at the Church Rooms in Lostwithiel - here’s a map. Doors open at 7:30pm, the film starts at 8pm.
Tickets
It’s going to be a sell-out, so grab your tickets quickly! Tickets are just £4, and are available in advance at Watts Trading, Fore Street, Lostwithiel or on the door.
Tell us what you want
If the event is enthusiastically supported and well attended we’ll be showing films regularly throughout the year. We’ll be handing out questionnaires on the night to find out how you want the film club to run.
