Lostwithiel

This traditional Cornish cottage is situated in a quiet location within the medieval Cornish capital of Lostwithiel. The cottage has recently been carefully refurbished to provide very comfortable accommodation. The river Fowey, shops, inns and restaurants are all within a short walk and this cottage has the added benefit of off-road parking.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with open beamed ceilings and Velux skylights, one with a double bed and one with a single bed. Downstairs are the sitting room, kitchen and shower room. The sitting room has an open fire, colour television, DVD, video and CD players. A door from this room opens into the sheltered front garden with bench seat. The compact kitchen is well-equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washer dryer and fridge. The shower room has a walk-in shower, lavatory and washbasin. From the kitchen, a sloping path with steps leads about 20 yards (via a shared right of way) to a private parking area and a further garden with summer house and good views over the town and wooded valley. Additional parking is available within 25 yards of the cottage.

All bed linen is supplied. The cost of electricity and gas central heating are included in the rent.

A well behaved pet may be allowed by prior arrangement.
