Water Feature with a design based on ammonite fossils

Katrina Trinick Ceramics

My ceramic sculpture and water features are suitable for the garden, conservatory or indoors. Because of the organic nature of these forms they are at their best amongst plants, or perhaps beside water.

The design of the water features is the same as the sculptures; some are rounded pebble forms while others have a basin in the top. The basin shape is inspired by weathered moorland granite and will collect rainwater. The water features have a flexible pipe in the middle. Water is pumped from beneath and flows continually over the form. The flowing water both enhances the colour and adds movement.

Because the sculptures and water features are hollow in construction they are not very heavy and can be moved around, although they appear to be large, carved or textured boulders. This is a great advantage in the water features, making access to the pump easy.

The gallery shows sculptures and water features available at the time, other work can be seen on the examples page. I regularly update the gallery with new work and I am always happy to make pieces to order or take commissions. Please phone 01208 871595 to make an appointment.
